3 Ways To Attract The Right Audience For Your Blog or Business
If finding the right audience for your blog or business is hard, let me be the first to tell you that you’re not the only one. Find the right audience seems easy, but in practice can be somewhat difficult to do. You have to be mindful and intentional in how you’re positioning yourself the minds and eyes of the right people.
So how do you attract the right people to your blog or business:
Be clear on your value
Knowing what you can offer, teach, or show people is super important. It translates to your value. Think about whatever success you’ve had in a certain area. For example, I know I love creating content and have found ways to do so without burnout or overwhelm. I literally drafted 3 blog posts and from that came up with 10 additional content ideas. What you do well or better than others helps you become the “teacher” marketing to the “student”.
Market to those who matter
Marketing to everyone will attract nobody to your blog or business. That’s like standing in the middle of a crowd and throwing a ball up in the air. Most people will look at each other wondering who is going to grab the ball or they all might even step out of the way. That’s what happens when you’re not clear on who you’re targeting in your blog or business. You have to market to the people who are are able to actually help, impact, or influence. When it comes to marketing to the right people, it comes down to knowing 3 things:
know your audience needs
know you what solutions you can realistically provide your audience
know who doesn’t “fit” when it comes to your blog or business
Create content that resonates
It’s not your job just to create, it’s also your job to create content that resonates to an audience. If you’re a stylist helping women establish their own personal style, but the content you regularly create talks about financial habits, how does that resonate with your audience.
Remember, attraction comes being intentional. When you’re intentional in your blog or business, you can attract the right people to your blog or business.
